Energise South Downs’ mission is to transform the South Downs and surrounding areas into a beacon of sustainability through community energy projects.
Community energy projects bring people together to generate, manage, or reduce energy use. These initiatives cut carbon emissions through locally generated renewable energy, funded by local investment. They empower communities to have a say in energy generation, placing citizens at the heart of the low-carbon transition.

This spring, we will launch our first share offer to raise capital for solar panels at three rooftop sites in Hampshire, with accessible minimum investments to ensure everyone can get involved. These three projects will generate 280KW and save a total of 56 tonnes of carbon in the first year.
