We were very pleased to be runners up for Community Energy England’s Organisation of the Year award, along with Derbyshire Dales Community Energy. The award went to the incredible The CHEESE Project, whose Cold Homes Energy Efficiency Survey Experts (CHEESE) have been combating fuel poverty and reducing carbon footprints since 2014. Congratulations to them!
It was fantastic to see Kerry McCarthy – Labour MP for Bristol East – give the keynote address, in which she said: “Let me make it clear: the Government is passionate about Community Energy”.
We were delighted to be invited to such an inspirational evening and look forward to exciting times ahead for the Community Energy Sector.
