Energise South Downs helps to co-ordinate and share the activities of a of village and locality-based energy and climate groups across the region, a number of which are listed below.
These affiliations with ESD are helpful in the following ways:
- sharing best-practice across the region
- helping to get the voices of local groups heard at district, county and Park authority levels
- for generation project financing, which requires a significant level of organisation and a large pool of potential investors
