Community energy schemes help to deliver carbon reduction and energy security along with reduced and more predicatable costs. Energise South Downs is your community partner for the delivery of sustainable energy solutions in the SDNP and surrounding areas.
The primary activities of Energise South Downs are:
- Renewable generation projects – developing, funding and maintaining community-owned generation projects.
- Awareness & engagement – events, talks, workshops and sign-posting to resources.
- Research & consultancy – running surveys, feasibility studies, advisory work and sign-posting to funding
- Partnerships & funding – collaborating with local authorities and businesses. Seeking shared ownership opportunities.
- Core Operations – fundraising, governance, finance, and organisational development.
